The Art curriculum at ASA follows the California State Standards for Visual Arts, and encourages and teaches kids important virtues, helps them succeed in other parts of their lives and helps them advance in their academic achievements. The students are taught about working hard when creating art, constantly encouraged to go back and fine tune their previous efforts to successively get closer to something they can feel proud of.
